{"id":19571,"date":"2025-11-26T10:09:46","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T09:09:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/absolwent.umw.edu.pl\/?p=19571"},"modified":"2025-11-26T10:11:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T09:11:27","slug":"19571","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/absolwent.umw.edu.pl\/en\/19571\/","title":{"rendered":"Professor Piotr Ponikowski honored with the title of &#8220;Scientific Personality of Lower Silesia&#8221;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Rector of the Medical University of Wroc\u0142aw, Professor Piotr Ponikowski, was honored with the title of &#8220;Scientific Personality of Lower Silesia.&#8221; This distinction, awarded for the first time in history, was presented on November 20th of this year during the Grand Business Gala &#8220;Lower Silesian Griffin \u2013 Economic Award,&#8221; held in the departures hall of Wroc\u0142aw Airport.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The award was granted for his exceptional contribution to the development of clinical cardiology, the building of a strong, internationally recognized heart disease center in Wroc\u0142aw, and his consistent blend of top-tier scientific research with clinical practice for the benefit of patients in the region and throughout Poland.
