Over 1,000 applications from candidates from all over Poland were submitted to the second edition of the Polish Clinical Scholars Research Training (“P-CSRT”) program developed and implemented by Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Medical Education. One hundred participants were selected from this group, among whom three scientists from our university were qualified – Dr. Joanna Gleńska-Olender from the WMU Biobank and Dr. Alicja Basiak-Rasała and Dr. Dagmara Gaweł-Dąbrowska from the Department of Population Studies and Prevention of Civilization Diseases at the Faculty of Health Sciences. This is a great honor and a chance for development – assure the participants of the training.
The program is intended for people who have completed medicine, nursing, pharmacy and other studies in the field of health sciences or natural sciences. These are advanced trainings in the field of health care and scientific research, with a special emphasis on clinical research and publications. It aims to expand the competences of Polish scientists and researchers in the field of clinical research, as well as to develop their skills and abilities at every stage of the clinical research process – from writing a grant application and launching new projects to data analysis and presentation of results.
