Graduates of the current Wroclaw Medical University, who completed their medical studies in 1974, took part in a ceremonial, jubilee reunion, combined with the renewal of diplomas. The meeting took place at the Collegium Anatomicum WMU.
The guests were welcomed by prof. Agnieszka Piwowar, vice-rector for students and teaching, dr hab. Robert Zymliński, prof. WMU, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Bożena Kaniak, vice-president of the Lower Silesian Medical Council in Wrocław, and professors: Zygmunt Grzebieniak and Michał Jeleń.
Prof. Zygmunt Grzebieniak appeared as a graduate of the Wroclaw Medical University from the class of 1974 and co-organizer of the meeting.
Among those who graduated from WMU in 1974 was the late, outstanding heart surgeon, Prof. Marian Zembala. The participants of the reunion honored the memory of those who are no longer with us with a minute of silence.
