“This is a great source of pride for us and proof that the research development strategy at Wrocław Medical University is yielding tangible results,” emphasizes Professor Piotr Ponikowski, Rector of Wrocław Medical University. “As many as 37 of our researchers are included, meaning we are increasingly present in the global scientific community. The ranking not only demonstrates the citation rate of our publications but also highlights their importance for the development of medicine and health sciences. This is a success for the entire academic community – from experienced professors who have been shaping the international image of Polish medicine for years, to younger researchers whose work is becoming increasingly visible and valued. Such distinctions strengthen the university’s global position, facilitate the development of partnerships with research centers and industry, and attract talented students and doctoral candidates. It also confirms that our path towards scientific excellence is sound and consistently pursued.”
