A delegation from Wroclaw Medical University traveled nearly 26,000 kilometers to spend a week at the World Expo 2025 in Japan.During their stay in Osaka, they promoted the university’s potential and opportunities, established new connections, and presented the emerging Medical Discovery Centre (CdM) at Wroclaw Medical University.

During EXPO 2025, Wroclaw Medical University showcased not only its academic and research potential, but also its ability to communicate science in an accessible and engaging way. A hands-on surgical suturing workshop, using professional tools and an unconventional teaching model involving bananas, proved to be one of the most popular attractions.
Visitors eagerly participated, learning basic surgical techniques and engaging in conversation with our experts. The openness, curiosity, and enthusiasm shown by participants highlighted the importance of interactive medical education in building global connections.
