We are aware that Graduates are, next to Students, a very important group of the community of our University. Establishing and maintaining a bond between the Graduate and the University is in the best interest of both parties. In Poland, relations between the University and Graduate are still treated with little understanding despite their importance. Due to this, we hope this will be the integrating point of these two environments. The issues are underestimated by the universities themselves, and for graduates it is an uncharted territory in our culture. Let this be the first step of learning and creating this new trend, which has been present for many years in the culture of Western Universities. Relations between the University and Graduates exemplified especially in Anglo-Saxon countries are largely based on the high involvement of both parties which are well understood for their deep symbiosis. Although these programs have been around, abroad for decades, we must not look at the past, and strive to make the future brighter from this moment on.

Here we turn to you with a proposal to create a joint environment for graduates of the Wroclaw Medical University. We ask you for your interest, commitment, creativity and desire to share your own experiences with graduates, and students. We plead for your praise and criticisms. Your help is of the utmost value to us. We are open to your initiatives and will strive to always provide our support. Remember, this portal is your portal. Let it be a footprint in the ground of the paths you once walked, and the door to your futures, and of each class to come.

To paraphrase our utopian idea, which we may only remember from books:
